Client
T-Bank is a financial institution based in Texas and a partner with an entrepreneurial credit philosophy designed around business and practice needs. It is ranked among the Top 200 Healthiest Banks in the US in LendingTree’s 2021 analysis and is one of the leading SBA loan providers nationwide.
The Challenge
The SBA Paycheck Protection Program was a $699 billion US government loan initiative introduced during the COVID-19 crisis.Applications were open for limited windows, and once funds were depleted, applicants had to wait for new pools to open while the submission website remained unavailable.
T-Bank needed to maximize the number of loan applications submitted before funding ran out and partnered with Flobotics to build an RPA solution.
The implementation came with challenges. The loan submission website was frequently unavailable due to traffic spikes, and server overloads caused crashes during the final submission step, forcing users to re-enter data repeatedly.Time was critical, and changes had to be applied directly on a live system.
The Solution
Flobotics began work the moment the new funding pool opened and the website became available.
An attended RPA robot was developed to work alongside a human operator, automatically filling out loan applications in seconds. The robot extracted applicant data from CSV files, navigated the submission website, and populated forms automatically. The operator only confirmed submission by clicking the final button.
The automation also handled website instability. If the site crashed, the bot paused and resumed immediately once it recovered, eliminating repetitive manual input.
The submission process was reduced from 10–15 minutes to just 6 seconds.
The Outcome
Through automation, the client saved over 200 hours of manual work and enabled the submission of more than 1,000 loan applications, representing approximately $100 million in applications and $5 million in revenue.
The solution was developed in about 8 hours, allowing the client to see ROI almost immediately, without engaging internal staff or incurring high development costs.
We continue to help finance organizations automate accounting and financial workflows through practical RPA solutions.
