Client

Global-View is a Texas-based company offering GPS tracking devices and cloud-based software to locate cars,trailers,assets,and people.Their platform supports fleet,vehicle,and agent management.

The Challenge

Global-View needed to streamline the activation of device accounts and SIM cards. The existing process required employees to handle activation requests via email,manually create accounts,and activate devices across multiple applications.

Frequent system switching,manual logging,and asset lookups made the process slow,error-prone,and confusing for users,who regularly required administrator assistance.

The Solution

Flobotics implemented an RPA solution using UiPath and its low-code automation platform.

An intelligent robot was developed to fully automate the activation workflow.The bot monitors incoming emails for activation requests,verifies payment status,validates submitted data,creates user accounts,activates SIM cards and trackers across multiple platforms,and notifies users upon successful completion.

The automation integrated GSuite,email and spreadsheets,the client’s internal SIM management system,and the tracker management platform into one unattended process.

After three weeks of development,the MVP was deployed and tested across selected facilities.

The Outcome

The full implementation,including testing,was completed in under three weeks by a single UiPath developer.The activation process was reduced from approximately ten minutes per request to just one second.

System administrators no longer need to assist with routine activations and can focus on core responsibilities.Additional error handling was implemented to manage system and business exceptions,with automated email notifications sent to administrators when issues occur.
