Client

eSky is a travel tech marketplace operating in over 50 countries and a market leader in Central and Eastern Europe. It offers flights, accommodation, city breaks, holiday packages, and ancillary services such as insurance, car rental, airport transfers, and attractions.

The Challenge

eSky monitors hundreds of airline websites in real time to track ticket prices and customer policies. While price tracking was straightforward, detecting changes in luggage policies proved difficult. These policies are often hidden, updated unexpectedly, and hard to spot, especially during nighttime updates.

Outdated luggage policy information led to poor customer experience, complaints, and compensation for misled clients.Manual monitoring by employees was too time-consuming,monotonous,and prone to human error.

The Solution

Flobotics designed an RPA bot to automatically monitor airline websites daily, detect policy changes within seconds, and forward relevant updates to an alert system.

After gathering requirements during joint workshops, the first version of the bot was developed in Python to quickly validate feasibility.Core automation logic was written in a human-readable form, with complex components such as site sequencing and data preprocessing handled in Python.

The result was a powerful yet easy-to-manage automation that significantly reduced complexity and operating costs compared to cloud-based solutions.

The Outcome

Within eight days,an RPA bot was deployed to monitor airline websites for luggage policy changes in real time.A user-friendly dashboard was created in the Robocorp Control Room, providing historical logs and performance charts.Email alerts notify eSky employees only when actual changes occur.

Previously, this task required more than one full-time employee if performed daily.Within 32 hours of work, the automation fully replaced the manual process.eSky achieved a return on investment within two months.
